We are Perspectives Media, a collective of professional dancers based in London with passions across other artistic mediums including music, film, poetry and fashion. With humanity at our forefront, we are building a wider community of artists who can collaborate with one another across disciplines to not only support and uplift each other but to also create thought-provoking work that channels honesty, vulnerability and introspection.
About Us
The Collective was created in 2021 by Skiye Nataliah and Amari Webb-Martin as part of Newham’s Youngest In Charge Project where the duo were awarded a £5K fund to develop a community-based arts project to create a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of children and young people in Newham. The result was a dance short film entitled The Garden and a series of free dance workshops for young people in Newham, delivered by the cast of the film: Ashur Cali, Elvi Christiansen, Rory Clarke, Phoebe Dowglass, Skiye Nataliah and Amari Webb-Martin.
Elvi Christiansen and Roshaan Asare officially joined the Perspectives Team in 2025 for the collective’s relaunch. Together, the Perspectives Team continues to make art that champions honesty, humanity, friendship and hope, all to express their ever changing perspectives and ask others:
